深入解读
不知道有没有小伙伴和小站一样，看到 waft 就不自觉地联想起 waffle （蛋奶烘饼、威化饼、薄脆饼、华夫饼）来，这两个单词不仅开头相同，而且后者的香味也可以通过前者来表达随风“飘荡、吹拂”或“使飘荡、使飘送”而出，强调在空中轻柔流动，比如：
- 高粱发酵的气味从厨房飘了出来。
The smell of fermented sorghum wafted up from the kitchen. - 一阵微风将小玫瑰花的香味从敞开的窗子里送了进来。
A gentle breeze wafted the scent of miniature roses in through the open window.
从轻轻飘荡这个概念出发， waft 还可以用来引申喻指“快速地输送”，比如：
