(1) not a bit是“一点也不……”，等于not...in the least。

• He didn't like it a bit when his son brought him that proposition.
  他一点也不喜欢他儿子给他提出的那个建议。
• I was not a bit surprised/tired.
  我一点也不吃惊/劳累。

 (2) not a little 与not a bit 相反，意思是“不少，很大”，表示程度，用于书面语，相当于a good deal, extremely。口语中一般用a lot (of), considerably, very much。

• He was not a little surprised.
  他相当吃惊。

 (3) not ...in the least意思是“一点也不……；丝毫也不……；连最低程度的……也没有”。

• He was not in the least angry with me.
  他一点也不生我的气。
• He didn't seem to be in the least shocked or frightened.
  他好像一点也不震惊或害怕。

 (4) not the least意为“一点也不……；一点……也没有”。

• There is not the least wind today.
  今天一点风也没有。

 (5) ①not/no at all也表示“一点不……”。

• I'm sorry to give you so much trouble.
  很抱歉给你带来这么多麻烦。
• Oh, no! It's no trouble at all .
  喔，不！一点也不麻烦。
• I woke up and I didn't hear him at all .
  我醒来时，一点也听不到他的声音。

②在别人表示感谢时，常以not at all作答，表示“不用谢”或“哪里的话”。

• A: It's very kind of you.
  太感谢你了。
  B: Not at all .
  不用谢。
• A: We are giving you a lot of trouble.
  我们给您添了这么多麻烦。
  B: Not at all .
  哪里的话。

 (6) not the less 的意思是“还是，仍旧”，意思同nevertheless。

• The report was not the less true in the main.
  这则报道大体上还是真实的。
