(1) ①scene意思是“风景，所见之物；展现于眼前的主体景象”，可以是室内外的、城乡的；可以是运动的，也可是静止的。常指自然景色，其含义接近view，但使用范围较view窄。

• The sunrise viewed from Mount Tai is a beautiful scene .
  从泰山上看到的日出是一幅美丽的景象。
• Taxis and buses were part of the street scene .
  出租车和公共汽车是街头一景。
• There were distressing scenes everywhere in the city after the earthquake.
  地震后，这座城市到处都是一片凄凉的景象。

②scene可作剧中的“场景，布景”解。

• The curtain is lowered at the end of each scene .
  每场结束时，幕布都放下来。
• The parting of the lovers was a very moving scene .
  这对情侣分别的场面非常打动人。

③scene还可表示“重大活动的场所”。

• The Capital Stadium has been the scene of many international gatherings.
  首都体育馆是许多国际性集会的场所。

 (2) ①sight作“景色，名胜，景象”解时，多指人造景物，但也可指自然景象；既可指美好的事物，也可指可怕的景象。

• The sunrise as seen from the top of the hill is a beautiful sight .
  从这个小山顶上看到的日出是一幅美丽的景象。
• The fire was a frightening sight .
  这场大火是幅可怕的景象。

②sight也表示“供参观、游览的胜地”，多用复数。

• Niagara Falls is one of the sights in the world.
  尼亚加拉大瀑布是世界上的游览胜地之一。
• The Great Wall is one of the most breathtaking sights in the world.
  长城是世界上最令人叹为观止的奇迹之一。

 (3) ①view指“天然景色，风景”，侧重于视野里的景色，是一般用词。

• They lived in a house with fine views over valleys and mountains.
  他们住在一所面山临河谷、风景优美的房子里。
• A fine view of the city can be obtained from the top of the hill.
  这座城市的美景可以从小山顶上尽收眼底。
• Have you visited the ten famous views of the West Lake?
  你观赏过西湖十景吗？

②view还可指“风景画”。

• I'm going to paint views on postcards and sell them in the street.
  我将把风景画在明信片上，在大街上卖。
• Various views of the Bei Hai Park hung on the wall.
  墙上挂着北海公园的各种各样的风景画。

 (4) scenery指一个地区的天然景色、风景或景致，如高山、森林等，用作不可数的集合名词。

• The charming scenery up at the lake is just breath-taking.
  那湖边迷人的风景令人惊叹。
• I live near the beautiful scenery .
  我住在这美丽的风景区附近。
• The unique scenery along the Nile is attractive.
  尼罗河两岸独特的风光美丽迷人。

 (5) landscape指“山水及其他自然景色”，也可指“风景画”。

• We were all enchanted by the impressive surrounding landscape of the city.
  我们全都为这座城市周边迷人的风光陶醉了。
• The beautiful hills form a splendid landscape .
  这些美丽的小山构成了一幅绝妙的风景画。
• I prefer a good landscape to a portrait.
  我对一幅优美的风景画的喜爱胜过一幅肖像画。
