slam to, pull to, draw to, push to, shut to 与 shove to 这些短语都可表示“关上”，其中的to为副词。

 (1) slam to意为“把……砰地关上”，slam可以是及物动词也可是不及物动词。作不及物动词时以门窗等为主语。

• Speechless with rage, he slammed the door to and strode away.
  他愤怒得说不出一句话，砰的一声把门关上，大踏步地走了。
• The door slammed to in the high wind, locking her out.
  门在大风中砰地关上了，把她锁在了门外。

 (2) pull to意思是“把……拉上，关上”，pull 为及物动词。

• Pull the curtains to, the light is hurting my eyes.
  关上窗帘，光线刺痛了我的眼睛。
• As you leave, will you please pull the door to gently?
  你离开时，请把门轻轻关上好吗？

 (3) draw to表示“把(窗帘)拉上”。

• Will you draw the curtains to ? The light is too strong, hurting my eyes.
  关上窗帘好吗？光线太强了，刺痛了我的眼睛。

 (4) push to意思是“把(通常指门)关紧、推上”。

• Will you push the door to, it's not quite shut.
  把门关紧好吗？它没有关紧。

 (5) shut to, shove to意为“把(门窗)关紧”。

• Make sure that you shut/shove the door to as you leave, will you?
  你离开时一定把门关紧，好吗？
