区别辨析 trade at, trade with, deal at, deal with, do business with, transact with 与 travel in

(1) trade at意为“(经常)光顾(某处)”。

  • My family has traded at Mr. Green's vegetable store for over twenty years.
    我们家光顾格林先生的蔬菜店有二十多年了。

 (2) trade with意为“(经常)从(某人处)买东西;跟……做交易(打交道)”。

  • My family has been trading with Mr. Green for over 20 years.
    我们家和格林先生做交易二十多年了。
  • I won't trade with that store ever again, they keep cheating us on the bills.
    我再也不到那家商店买东西了,他们总是在账单上蒙人。

 (3) deal at与trade at意思基本相同;deal with与trade with意思也基本相同。

  • I've been dealing/trading at Brown's for 30 years.
    30年来我一直从布朗家的店里买东西。
  • I've always dealt/traded with Mr. Black the dressmaker.
    我都是在裁缝布莱克先生那里做衣服。

 (4) do business with意为“跟……做生意;与……打交道”。

  • I won't do business with that shop any more. They are always trying to fleece the customers.
    我再不会跟那家商店打交道了,他们总是试图宰客。

 (5) transact with指“与……做生意”,是正式用语。

  • Please leave us for a minute or so, I have some private business to transact with your father.
    请让我们单独待一会,我与你父亲要做一笔私人交易。

 (6) travel in (sth.)意为“到处推销”。in为介词。

  • He is a salesman of some kind, traveling in office stationery.
    他可以说是个推销员,到处推销办公用品。
