(1) trusting和trustful同义，都指“易于相信他人的，信任的，不存疑心的”。

• She had a trusting look in her eyes.

 (2) artless意为“自然的，单纯的，天真烂漫的”。

• He is as artless as a child of five.
  他就像一个五岁的孩子那样纯真。

 (3) innocent可指“天真无邪的；无知的；头脑简单的；易受骗的”。

• She is a very innocent kind of person.
  她很天真。
• She is as innocent as a newborn baby.
  她就如初生婴儿一般天真。
• Don't be so innocent as to believe his nonsense.
  别天真到相信他的鬼话。

 (4) naive指“(由于年轻或无经验而言行)自然天真的，质朴的”。

• She was laughed at for her naive remarks.
  她幼稚的言语受到人们的嘲笑。
• Don't be so naive as to be taken in by that politician.
  不要太天真了，小心上那个政客的当。
• Her big eyes and naive questions made everyone feel protective toward her.

 (5) credulous意为“易受骗的，轻信的”。

• It's very credulous of you to believe what he says.
  你太轻信他的话了。
• He knew of old that ladybug was credulous about conflagrations, and he had practiced upon its simplicity more than once.
