区别辨析 what with...and (what with), what through ...and what through, owing partly to...and partly to, partly on account of...and partly from, partly because (of)...and partly because (of) 与 what by...and (what by)

 (1) 这些结构所表示的意思基本相同,只是前含有what的表示“一方面(一半)是因为……,一方面(一半)是因为……”,含有partly的是“部分因为……,部分因为……”。

  • What with official business and (what with) private business, I have been very busy these days.
    一方面由于公事,一方面由于私事,这些天我很忙。
  • I haven't been able to finish the work, partly because it has been very hot and partly because I had to pay frequent visits to our sick friend Jim.
