[注] learn 可作“听说,得悉”讲,但后面往往接that从句,如:He learnt that she had died.他听说她已经死了。learn后如接名词则通常要加of,如:Learning of the uprising of 1848 he returned to Italy.得知1848年的起义后,他回到了意大利。
