[译] 完成这一艰苦的任务有许多障碍。
[误] There are many obstacles to fulfil the difficult task.

[正] There are many obstacles to fulfilling the difficult task.
[注] 表示“……的障碍”,应该说obstacle to... ,其中to是介词,不是动词不定式的标记,所以后面应跟名词或动名词,不能跟动词不定式。
