[误] It’s far to the garage.

[正] It’s a long way to the garage.
[注] far主要用于问句及否定句中，在肯定句中用 a long way 而不用 far.如：I didn’t live far from the centre of the town.我住的（地方）与市中心不远。但是 far 与 too, so, quite 等连用以及 as far as 结构和短语 far from (= not at all)可用于肯定句中。如：It’s quite far to the station.这里离车站太远了。
