confide in him是“信任他而向他吐露秘密”。

confess可以把crime, debt, fault, guilt, secret, sin等词做宾语。

等句子里的conference（注意前面没有a）指“会谈”，并没有“开会”的意思。

conduct通常前面没有a，也没有复数形式conducts。
