fun是抽象名词，前面不可加a，也没有复数形式。

复数形式fumes有时指“臭气”。

full后面接of，如The bottle is full of water和The river is full of fish。

-ful加在名词后面形成名词，有“满”的意思。

fuel统指“燃料”。说“一种燃料”通常说a kind（或form）of fuel，说“多种燃料”通常说kinds（或forms）of fuel。

fruits of victory（胜利果实），fruits of labour（劳动果实）等表达方式里习惯用复数形式。

注意下面两句里的frost意思不同：

in front of作“在…的前面”解。例如：There is a hill in front of the house. in the front of作“在…的前部”解。

from后面往往接介词或副词，如from behind the door, from under the table, from above和from below。

Helen is frightened of Jack和He is frightened of the forest以及She is frightened of being left behind等句子里用of。
