score（二十）有两个复数形式，score和scores。

scold在一般词典里注作“骂”，实际是“大声的叱责”，既不是call names，也不是swear at。

a scissors＝a pair of scissors。

science统指“科学”，尤其指“自然科学”（natural science），a science是“一种科学”（不一定自然科学），sciences是“各种科学”（不一定自然科学），the sciences是“各种自然科学”。

schoolman用作“学校教师”或“学校行政人员”解是美国英语。

school(-)fellow

go to school（注意没有a或the）有两个意思：“开始上学”和“到校上课”。

注意He won（或was awarded）a scholarship（奖学金）to Oxford里用to。

scholar用作“学生（pupil）”解不算正当，该避免。
