misbehaviour前面不可有a，也没有复数形式misbehaviours。

“5点55分”说five minutes to six和five to six都可以，“6点10分”说ten minutes past six或ten past six也都可以。

说“少数民族”用minority，national minority，minority people或minority nationality都可以。

minister（公使）后面接什么介词，跟ambassador相同，参见ambassador

There is something in his mind是“他在想着什么”。There is something on his mind是“他在忧虑着什么”。

mincemeat现在并不作minced meat解。

把million译作“百万”当然不错，不过英美人的观念是“千千”，不是“百万”。

milk指任何动物的奶，不一定指“牛奶”。

Might I...?比May I...?更客气些。

in the midst of通常作“在…的中间”解。

midnight指晚上12点钟，不指一段时间，该说at midnight，不该说in the midnight或during the midnight。

in the middle of里用in，如in the middle of the street，in the middle of the night，in the middle of his work和in the middle of breakfast。
