entrust现在不用作“信任”解，如不可说We entrust you，该把entrust改作trust。

entrance（入口）后面接to或of都可以

entitle（使…有…的权利）的宾语后面接to和名词或接不定式

The poem is printed entire和The book may be easily read entire两句里的entire都合乎习惯。

enthusiastic后面可接不定式。

enthusiasm后面可以接不定式。

下面各句里的at现在报纸上往往改用to，最好不用to而保存at：

enter the room（或house等）和enter into the room（或house等）没有什么区别，通常不用into。

说“保险”现在用insure，不用ensure，说“保証”用insure远不及用ensure普通。

在英国通常用enrol，在美国通常用enroll。
