汉译英常见错误

[译] 我想干些工作，不去看电影了。
[误] I imagine I’ll do some works instead of going to the movies.

[译] 卡车多用于运输。
[误] Trucks are much used for transports.

[译] 昨天路上交通十分拥挤。
[误] There was a lot of traffics on the roads yesterday.

[译] 虽然整天下雨，可是我们没听到几声雷响。
[误] Though it was raining all day long, we hadn’t had many thunders.

[译] 对战败国来说，糖和条件通常都是苛刻的。
[误] The term of the peace was usually hard for the defeated nation.

[译] 那个男孩裤子上有一个破洞。
[误] The boy has a break in his trousers.

[译] 他爱饮烈性酒，有10年酗酒史。
[误] He enjoyed wine and had a history of heavy alcoholic intake of ten years’ duration.
